My blog page

I am a family historian writing about my genealogy research and  communities of color primarily in the Southeast, especially North Carolina, as those of you who followed my previous blog on (Margo Lee Williams’s Blog – currently not available for viewing) or  read my books (Miles Lassiter and From Hill Town to Strieby) know. I will be continuing to do the same here. In addition, I will post information about DNA and its place in genealogical research as well as other topics of historical and genealogical interest. So stay tuned!

  1. Hi Margo. I wrote this on my Facebook page.

I’m found Margo L. Williams who was more than an old friend from the 1970s. I saw a picture of her parents on her FB page. Her father, Herbert [“Herbie”] Williamswas a work colleague of my Dad, James Haslip in U.S. Custom for many years. Please respond. I lost your FB page during my responding search. My tel # is 917-892=6360.
